Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Net-Twin, an international community platform for creative people. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Net-Twin at https://net-twin.de.
Net-Twin is operated from Germany (European Union). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
Net-Twin is a community-based social platform designed for sharing creative work, discussion and collaboration in a respectful environment.
The platform is currently operated without active user monetization. Net-Twin is not a general advertising portal. Creative project reports, portfolios, tutorials and other useful contributions may include links to a user's own work or services where the creative or informative value remains the main purpose. Pure advertising, affiliate spam and deceptive promotional accounts are not permitted unless content has been expressly approved as official partner content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Net-Twin. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally permitted to use the platform.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You may edit, download or delete your content at any time. You may request deletion of your entire account at any time.
The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of violations of these Terms, applicable law, or where necessary to protect platform integrity and security.
4. User Content and License
You retain full ownership of your content.
By publishing content, you grant Net-Twin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and technically process your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining and improving the platform.
This license ends when the content is deleted, except where temporary retention is required for technical backups or legal compliance.
5. Prohibited Content
You agree not to post content that:
- violates applicable German or EU law
- infringes intellectual property or personal rights
- constitutes hate speech, extremist propaganda or harassment
- contains malware, phishing attempts or technical abuse
- is spam or deceptive advertising
- is pornographic or harmful to minors
6. Moderation, Notice and Review
Net-Twin may remove or restrict content, reject pending content, issue warnings, limit accounts or terminate accounts where content or conduct violates applicable law, these Terms or the Community Guidelines. The type and severity of a measure will take account of the nature, seriousness, frequency, intent and potential consequences of the violation.
Potentially illegal or harmful content may be reported through the reporting function available on the platform or by email to info@net-twin.de. A notice should identify the content concerned and explain the alleged violation as precisely as possible. Notices are reviewed carefully, objectively and without arbitrary discrimination.
Where legally required and reasonably possible, affected users will be informed of a moderation decision and its main reasons. Affected users may request a review by contacting info@net-twin.de and identifying the content, account and decision concerned. Net-Twin is not generally required to monitor all user content but will act after obtaining sufficiently specific knowledge of a violation.
7. Availability
The platform is provided on an “as is” basis. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance, updates or technical issues may temporarily limit access.
8. Limitation of Liability
Liability is governed by statutory provisions of German law.
The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages except where mandatory liability provisions apply (e.g. injury to life, body or health).
9. Third-Party Services
The platform may integrate third-party services (e.g. authentication providers, payment processors, media services). Use of such services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Changes to the Platform
The operator may modify or discontinue parts of the platform at any time.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where legal, technical or operational reasons require a change. Registered users will be informed in reasonable time about material changes and their intended effective date. Where express consent is legally required, it will be requested separately. Users may stop using the service and delete their account before a material change takes effect. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
