Community Guidelines

Net-Twin is a creative community built on trust, respect and responsibility. These guidelines define the standards required to maintain a safe and constructive environment.

1. Be Respectful

Disagreement is welcome. Harassment, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, or targeted abuse are not.

We expect civil discussion even when opinions differ.

2. Protect Others

Content that exploits, harms, or endangers others is strictly prohibited.

This includes sexual violence, coercion, manipulation, abuse, and any form of child sexual exploitation.

3. Be Honest and Accountable

• Share only content you have the legal right to share.
• Do not impersonate others.
• Do not deliberately spread false or misleading information.
• You are responsible for everything posted under your account.

4. External Links

External links (e.g., YouTube, GitHub, portfolios) are permitted.

However, users remain responsible for ensuring that linked content complies with applicable law and these guidelines.

Links to illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content are prohibited.

5. No Spam or Manipulation

Net-Twin is a creative community, not a general advertising or affiliate platform.

Creative self-promotion is permitted when a genuine tutorial, project report, portfolio presentation, workshop insight or other useful creative contribution remains the main purpose. The following is prohibited:

• Accounts created primarily for advertising or search-engine manipulation
• Repeated unsolicited promotion or mass posting of links
• Affiliate spam, scams or deceptive commercial claims
• Artificial engagement manipulation, bots or fake accounts
• Creating multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

Official partner content is reviewed separately and must be clearly identifiable.

6. Respect Privacy

Do not share private or personal information about others without consent. This includes private messages, contact details, or sensitive personal data.

7. Stay Constructive

Criticism is welcome when constructive. Trolling, deliberate disruption, or repeated provocation are not.

8. Follow the Law

Content that violates German or applicable EU law is not permitted.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

Net-Twin moderates content and user behavior to protect the community and comply with applicable law.

Depending on the nature, seriousness and frequency of a violation, actions may include:

• Rejection or removal of content
• Warning
• Temporary restriction
• Permanent account termination
• Preservation of relevant data where legally required

Where legally required and reasonably possible, affected users will receive the main reason for a moderation decision and may request a review through info@net-twin.de.

If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, please report it via:

Abuse of the reporting system may itself result in moderation action.
